[MICROSOFT WINDOWS]

This holiday we’re selLing
Windows XP Nostalgia

Every holiday, Microsoft drops a Windows-themed ugly sweater that sells out in under 24 hours. For 2024, the design featured the classic ‘Bliss’ wallpaper, complete with its iconic clouds and rolling hills. Our job was to pay homage to the nostalgia of the early 2000s.

The Photoshoot

An early 2000s-inspired launch called for fisheye photography. I pitched the vision to the client, then led the creative direction across casting, styling, and props. On set, I worked closely with the photographer to bring it all to life.

The Website

The photos came to life on a microsite I also designed. We packed each blade with interactive moments, from nostalgic flash-style games to a hotline you could actually call, making the launch feel just as fun to explore as it was to create.

The Lofi Vibes

Nothing gives me more Bliss than Lofi music. So I pitched the idea of making a Lofi video and clients loved it...
as long as it was free. So I edited the whole thing, sourced the video and animation, and pulled all the songs to bring this hour long video to life on the website.

The Wallpapers

Everyone already had Bliss on their computers, so we brought it to their smartphones too. We resized the original and created alternative versions such 8-bit, pencil sketch, watercolor, impressionism, and pop art.

The QVC Telethon

On the day of the launch, we hosted a multi hour long live stream on our social channels inspired by the QVC shopping channel for people to get their sweater orders in. Here’s a 5 minute cut down on some of our highlights.
