[ THE NATIONAL PEANUT BOARD ]

Welcome to mY
peanut gallery

The National Peanut Board is all about supporting U.S. Peanut Farmers and bringing peanuts from farm to table.
Our job was to turn this humble shelled snack into something people would be excited about on social media.
So I cracked open two social campaigns designed to give peanuts a more playful personality.

GETCHA PEANUTS!

Peanuts have always been a part of the baseball experience. But in 2020, due to COVID, fans faced uncertainty about whether America’s favorite pastime would proceed. Could this be the first summer over 150 years without baseball?
When the MLB announced its plans to resume play, we turned to social media to celebrate the comeback alongside our fans.

We built a series of social posts that acted like digital Jumbotron games, giving fans a taste of being back at the ballpark. The best part? Fans could play these games directly on their feed and win real peanuts by using the hashtag #GetchaPeanuts.

And these posts did pretty well!

I designed a custom logo and thank-you note card to accompany the peanut prizes sent to our lucky winners.

And a set of supporting website banners to complete the campaign.

PAW FOR PB

I was tasked with creating a social extension for The National Peanut Board’s “Spreading Good” campaign,
using the love of peanuts to make the world a better place.

Inspired by peanut butter’s biggest four-legged fan (my dog, Foxie), I created an augmented reality (AR) Instagram game filter. Every play helped raise money for the Best Friends Animal Society, supporting shelter pets on their journey to a forever home.

And of course, this social extension had supporting social posts.
These posts were created with influencers, animated by yours truly, and featured Foxie herself.
